The path to self realisation and enlightenment is a lengthy and often difficult one, however, if we are committed and consistent in our practice of yoga, then, in a relatively short time, it is possible to come to an understanding of what it means, not just to practice yoga, but to live our lives through yoga. We can begin to experience real happiness, inner peace and contentment. This is our birthright and our natural state of being.
Once we start down this path we are committed and there is no turning back. It is not unusual to become disillusioned or be distracted from our purpose and even though we may falter many times, even though sometimes we are lost, it does not matter. In the end we will find our way.
